Securing my MT4 WKST

By richv ·
I use NT4 WKST and I also need to login to a domain (at work). How do I secure my wkst so that no one else can login using their domain account and password (not to my local machine)? Right now no one else can login to my local machine but someone can login if they have domain account with privileges.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

From USRMGR on your local machine- not your domain. Open the Policies menu and choose User Rights. Choose the "Logon Locally" user right and remove all accounts and groups, make sure to add your own domain account.

That should do it.

Justathought-- normally questions without points don't get answered very fast....

You can also remove all user accounts from the local USERS group in User Manager and then put in your Domain User account. This will make it so no other regular domain user can log in.
