Security Log in Event Log doesn't work

By default NT doesn't actually log anything to the Security event log. You need to enable the security monitoring manually.
This is done through the User Manager for Domains under the Policies menu. There is an option called "Audit..." from whichyou can enable which events NT will monitor in the security event log.

If daniel's solution doesn't work, find the security log file and delete it. It may be corrupt. It should be in \winnt\system32\config

Very Simpel you have to turn the logging on.
Goto
>Start
>Programs
>Administrative Tools
>Usermanager
>Policies (in the menubar)
>Audit
>Then check in the option "Audit these events"
>Select your options
>OK
And you'll see that the security log will be filled !!!
Greetings,
GAIke.
