security warning message

By kharp ·
As i explained in a previous question, I had a hijacker on my desktop that caused a security warning message to appear. Now I can't get rid of the message. the warning was"FATAL ERROR IN IE 0028:COOLIE36IN VDKVMM<01>*00010E36" The trojan has been eliminated but warning won't go away even after updating security. HELP!

Try running the trial version of Iolo's System Mechanic over the HDD and see if that fixes the problem. There is some thing left in the Registry which is causing this and it has to be removed as well. The download site for the trial version is

Lets know how you get on.

This is a screen joke. And is a bit tough to remove. Go to the following Symantec site for details on how to get rid of this.
