Sending email thru Outlook Express

By computer_excel ·
System Setup:
Windows 98 2nd Edition
ADSL modem from PacBell using PPOE (Dynamic)
AMD Duron 750MHz
128MB SRAM, PC-133

I am using Outlook Express 5 and I can receive email, but I cannot send any email.
Whenever I sent email I rec'd such message:

Error #0x800CCC79 ; Server Error 550. Email file was inhibited by Adminstrator, Port 25 Secure (SSL).

I am running peer to peer networking using Windows 98 connecting 5 workstations. I get the same error message even when I use only one computer standalone connected directly to ADSL modem ( No router or hub ).

The problem is with your ISP and is related to the newer anti-spam measures. Attachments are especally singled out.

Here is an article about the problem.
Go to technet.microsoft.com and enter the following in the search box:

Your solution on problem sending email thru different ISP was right on. It was 3:00am when I wrote this question after I spent 6 hours dealing with the problem.

After I changed the setting on the mail server of the Outlook Express using direct ISP mail server on Outgoing mail server customer was able to send email with no problem.

I am giving you 1000 point rating for this.

Thanks
