    Server for NFS Mount Failure

    Locked

    by heml0ck ·

I’m experimenting with Server for NFS (W2k3 R2) and have gotten as far as getting mount failures from the Unix client.
    I’ve configured Name Mapping.
I’ve set the NFS share to allow anonymous access.
I’ve allowed access to all machines in .maphosts.
I’ve set ‘everyone’ to full control on the folder (ntfs and share.)
The message from the client is either: “no such file or directory” or “nfs mount: RPC: Program not registered.”
The syntax on the client to mount is “mount -F server_name:/share mountpoint.”
    Anybody have any thoughts?
