Set Proxy for all users in IE

By warrenlmaurer ·
Is there a way to set the IE proxy to apply to all users on XP? I expect there should be a registry key, but I can't find it.

Here's an easy way to set that via GPO. You could set on the local policy, the default domain policy or my recommended way on the Organizational Unit that contains the user's domain accounts.

For the local policy, it is:
User Configuration/Windows Settings/Internet Explorer Maintenance/Connection/Proxy Settings.
That will open a tab that allows you to input your proxy settings!

Enjoy!

I worded my question improperly... I was needing to set all users to get an auto config file for the proxy setting. You led me to the right place though. The previous entry in GPO was the Automatic Browser Configuration which gave me what I needed. Thanks.
