By dliby ·
In Access 2000 can I determine where the start range of a autonumber field can be set?

Just add a record with a value of x-1 for the autonumber field, where x is the value you want to start with, and then delete it. (This will have to be done with an append query, and then a delete query) Future autonumber values will start with x and increment.

Just a word of warning though, its not usually a good idea to use autonumber to represent any really significant values.

Hope this is what you needed.
