sharing a printer on Win98

By c.khemani ·
I have printer hooked up to workstation with win98 which I want to make it as shared. Users login to novell 5.1 server. Workstation is also belongs to workgroup and I have NT server setup for internet access. I have file and print sharing running and also novell distributed services. When I click on network neighbourhood the workgroups are not seen. I have TCP/IP running and on novell side IPX/SPX. Can anyone suggest how to be able to see workgroup and also share this local printer.
Epson suggested to go to properties and click on sharing tab which I don't see when I click on properties tab and the driver is the latest one.

First thing: it sounds like you need to ADD FILE AND PRINT SHARING to the Win98 box. Then the sharing tab will come up. I believe this is done in the Network Control PAnel, and you will need your Windoze install media.

2nd thing: are all of your Windoze boxes logging into the same "workgroup"? It sounds to me as if they should, otherwise PC in WorkgroupA will likely not be able to access resources on PC in WorkgroupB.
