Shutdown

This is the Problem Using FS2002, when shutting down i recieve the following message and blue screen; A fatal exception OE has occurred at 0167:BOODCO50, This only happens when changing from FS back to windows on shutdown can any Gurus help. AMD 1200, 512 RAM, SB LIVE, VIA KT-7ZX-AGP set 133,
Graphics is G2 TI TH.

Believe it or not, I think it is a Windows problem.
Drop your RAM down to 256MB, or 384MB and see if it stops the problem.

Windows 9X has a problem with large amounts of RAM.
This is VERY configuration dependent, and could be triggered in a system by a driver or software update.

Yes you where right I had to drop my memory down from 511 to 300. Thank you for the tip.

This also sounds like a Windows problem to me as well. The fatal exception OE pretty much says that. What maybe happening is that the O/S itself is shutting down before all the programs have shut down, and that causes the system to hang. First thing turn off all the programs running in the background that you do not need. See if that helps. If you are running Windows 98SE turn off the fast shutdown option in the settings area.
