software testing tools

my name is raghavender and i have completed my mechacnical engineering with less percentage and with five year degree but i am very much interested in software and i have good knowledge in languages like Clanguage for good job opertunities i want to join the software tesing tools will you suggest whether i have taken a right decision or not. If you think i have chosen the right decision then please tell the names of those institutions which provide software tesing tool course and also which provide placements without considering the percentage in my acedamics
