I have a few links for you.

The best thing to do is install a firewall AFTER you clear out any bugs the hacker left behind.

Search for "anti-spyware" in any search engine and it will give you many downloadable programs that you can install that will either quarantine or delete the spy ware.

Add "free" to the search and you will find some that are free like AdAware (http://www.webattack.com/get/adaware.shtml).

PestPatrol (http://www.safersite.com/) is a shareware version that has an evaluation version you can download (the full version costs 20$ for a limited time as we speak--there must be a lot of these spy things going around).

You can install more than one of these to make sure that you get rid of everything. If you use something like Norton System Works for anti-virus and system monitoring, you can consider adding or upgrading their firewall security program which restricts pretty much everything until you create a rule for each attempted internet communication.

Best wishes. Let us know what you found and how you worked it out.
