Sound Problem

I have this problem, when there are two requests for sound, l get this ding, ding, until l reboot. This problem started after reformatting the hard drive.

For example, if l have the radio going, through IE6, and l get an error message, the ding, ding, happens until l reboot.

This problem is very frustrating, and l am sure there is someone with the computer expertise that can offer a suggestion.

Sounds like a sound driver issue.

Are you using the default Windows driver for the sound card, or did you update the driver from the sound card mfgs. web site?

If this is on the same system as you other post, it still could be the large RAM issue to.

I’m sorry bud but this question was not for me someone ask me about there problem and I could not help with any ideas myself so I came here, That person ask for help did not reply saying good or bad and I’m left with this question being open all that time.
