SQL7- Cross Tab Query

By s_m_anandgl ·
Access 97 has Cross tab query feature using TRANSFORM and PIVOT sql commands. But it seems SQL Server 7 doesn't have this command/ feature. Can any body help, how to solve this problem. Is there any third party DLLs available to solve this problem.
Thanking you in advance

The low end solution is to use sub-select statements instead of columns. But this can be very slow if you don't know how to write the queries effectively.

The high end solution is to use a data-warehouse.

I guess a simple way is to use sub-select. By indexing the table, it should minimise the time required to perform the query.
