SSH Linux Login

when I try to log in to a remote host with slogin I cannot connect. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

I am typing slogin <remote host>

yes.

You may need to authenticate like this:

slogin -1 <username> <remote host>

Also, if you are trying to use an algorithm besides IDEA or 3des, you may need:

slogin -1 <username> -c <algorithm> <remote host>

Last, if you need to connect to something besides the default port, include this:

slogin -p <port#> <remote host>

If you are using RSA, make sure this is set up correctly.
