Stop running game

hello.

I have many PC in which i would like to stop running games like. Unreal Tournament, Age Of empire etc..

I stopped the Direct3d from dxdiag. but still the games are running..

is their any way i can block so that users are not capable of going to the 3d mode ??

NTFS Permissions

Don't allow the users to be members of the local adminsitrators gorup.

Lock the fiels needed to run the games to the local admins.

Use scanning software and uninstall any games you find.

Fire a big shot for having a game on his system.

Thank your choice there....

Group Policies

Hello,

You can block EXEs and DLLs from executing by using Windows Group Policies: http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/Software-Restriction-Policies.html

Using Group Policies you can block users from running those games.

blocking 3d mode...

thanks for the replay..

but i was just thinking is there any way so that i can block the programs to going in to the driectx 3d mode.

and as far as NTFS... unfortunately blocking files is not an option...
