    Strange Public Folder form behaviour

    Locked

    by jsh61 ·

The company I work for has published an Excel spreadsheet as a form in our Exchange 5.5 public folders. To access the blank form, fill in all the neccesary information, and then post the form to the folder, the staff use Outlook 2003. Through the ACTIONS menu, then the “New Blank Form” menu choice, the staff bring up the blank form, complete it, then post it.

All our users except 1 can successfully open the blank form and post it. Whenever she attempts it, an error appears saying the form cannot be loaded and to contact the System Administrator (Me). Her PC is configured identically to all the others, she has all the proper permissions for the folder, and I’ve uninstalled & reinstalled Outlook, but still no luck.

Any suggestions why this could be happening?… and any way to fix it?? I’d really appreciate the input.

Open outlook, go to Toolt > Options > Click on the Other Tab and click Advanced Options. Click on Custom forms, then Manage forms. click on clear cache. Then click on close and ok and try to open the form. have run into this many times with our custom forms and usually clears it up.
