A Few Tips

by tintoman In reply to suggestions for IT career

1. STOP SHOUTING
2. Think very carefully before you get involved in this business
3. Make sure you get properly qualified.
4. Try to accept that love em or hate em, Microsoft have a monsterous market share and to be an expert on their products will be a real bonus
5 Take a few courses and get MCDST at least (Microsoft Certifies Desktop Support Technician)

Training

by olivierb In reply to suggestions for IT career

Hi,
you could try the Comptia's a+ and n+ certification. The first one will help you to troubleshoot PC's, laptops, printers,...
and the n+ will help you understand some network basics which might help if you want to troubleshoot users' or even companies' networks.
