Syncronizing time in the domain

By davidt ·
I have an SBS2003 PDC and several dozen XP Pro clients. My server gets the correct time from a couple of sources, that is no problem. But the clients are all over the clock - I thought they received their time from the PDC, automatically.
Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

It could be a couple of things

It could be issues on the clients, it could be an incorrect setting in group policy. It could also be that the server isn;t synching consistently itself.

Try running net time on the server and on the workstations and see what they tell you.

as a workaround, if you add this to a logon script, it will force the synch

net time \\%servername% /set /yes

I'll check group policy first, but that script is helpful - thanks
