system reboots using dialup networking

Using Win 89b on a newer 800 celeron machine. After a succesfull initial setup of all programs about 1 month ago, The system will now reboot when dialing up the ISP. Help!

The computer may be having another problem such as
Heating problem
Power Supply
Virus
Power Management enabled
CPU heating up
Check the system to make sure that fans are operating properly,especiallly the cpu
Check the connectors on the board and make sure they are secured
Check the memory chips and make sure that,they are seated properly
Uninstall the software to your ISP and reinstall,see if this will help

uninstall / reinstall dialup networking.
(From control panel > add/remove programs > comunications)
Create a new dialup networking icon.

Thanks for the replies. This one was rather odd. The problem was on my boss's personal computer. When I got there, it turns out he had just installed a Logitech force feed back joystick and had used a serial connector instead of the USB. (Only)when the joystick was not powered, halfway through the login process, the computer would reboot. With the power on the joystick it would not. We ended up leaving it in the USB connector. Problem solved!
