tcp wrapper

Hi,

I am having Sun Box (Solaris with 2 ethernet controllers.

1st Ethernet IP : 192.168.1.140

2nd Ethernet IP : 192.168.201.1

I have installed OpenSSH , and tcp wrapper with required additional softwares

Now i want that the users come to 192.168.1.140 should come through SSH / scp etc.. and the users which comes to 192.168.201.1 can b with telnet / rcp etc..

how can i acive it ?? can any body will give me detailed steps to achive this.. ??

Unfortunately, tcpwrapper doesn't allow for this. tcpwrapper either blocks/allows a protocol based on the "source" not the "destination". The issue is that tcpwrapper is called too late in the network layer to determine what interface the packet came in on. You should look into a firewall (e.g. Sun's Sunscreen) to do something like this. Sorry this isn't the answer you wanted, but its the only one for this situation.

Have you looked at xinetd, it's a replacement
that allows for more control than tcpwrapper does
like binding an application to an ip address.
It also allows to folter on source address.
