To find the AMD processor details in windows

Hi..
Can anyone help me in finding out the processor details of an AMD processor (the type of processors, number of core etc). Will be greatful if someone replies.

but first you'll need to open her up and look for the part numbers.

I did a Google search on AMD processor, chart. Alot of good stuff out there that others have done to help identify AMD processors. Good Luck..been there done that!

Thank u for the support dude.. I also want to know whether there is any programatical way or commands that lists all the details of a processor(speed, number of cores , etc..) in a windows OS

Use the systeminfo command from a dos prompt. this is WinXP only.
