to use as proxy

i have one linux 7.2 pc and four 98 pcs. i have one internet account. i want to use linux 7.2 as proxy server.i'd like to know how to configure linux 7.2 to use as proxy.pls, help me.

Hello there...
I know that you have two choices to do that.

1. for linux there a program called squid, that is proxy-cache server, you can use it, the best of this is the cache, it stores pages. The link is www.squid-cache.org

2. The other one is using ipchains, you can configure you linux box with ipchains, for manual and HOWTO this is the link

Hi!
There are 2 ways to go about:
One is ny using Squid Proxy and
Two is by using IPchains subnetting.
