training for SMS 2.0

By jgranger ·
Can anyone recommend any good CBTs or On-line training for SMS 2.0? In addition to prepping for the test, I would like to gain some "real world" knowledge of SMS (my company is deploying it). Thanks

training for SMS 2.0

Hi, does it have to be a CBT? Microsoft's trining kits (mspress) tend to be very good. Besides training you for their tests, they often include evaluation copies of the software (so you can experiment without having to rely on your company's install). Microsoft also offers online seminars for many of their products (typically specific modules within sms). However, if you want a cbt, check out all the offerings at http://www.cbtsys.com - they offer a number of deployment options ranging fromcd's on standalone computers to courses deployed on corporate intranets (reasonable if there is a group of people wanting the same training). There are a lot of on-line training options: e.g., testout.com (also cbts), www.smartplanet.com; zdu at www.zdnet.com; learnkey, etc. I hope these suggestions help. However, cbtsys.com is one of the leaders in CBT deployment. I hope this helps.

They have traing, CBT & Tests, Soft Text (mcse cert material) onsite classes (best choice). Their SMS Class this year came with a Demo (fully funct. version of SMS 2.0) & A CD with CBT already on it. This is where I took my MCSE classes for 2.0 & I would highly recomend them. But the best class is to setup a lab, ntworkstations ALL WITH NT4 SERVER on it , then install SMS on each (as a class- following text book) & Play really hard work as many labs as you can find..Good Luck -AL
