Do you have a TV Capture card that may have corrupted drivers? Or possibly the software is not initiating the card?
Double check your Video card in Device Manager.-

First there was this:

http://techrepublic.com.com/5208-6230-0.html?forumID=101&threadID=267689So we’ve got an ATI card with TV Out and hopefully ATI All-in Wonder drivers as advised by TheChas.
Is this correct so far?

A maelstrom that’s run for days and days.
The card isn’t an All-in Wonder – it’s just that Chas thought the drivers would suit the task. I thought it was a clever call.
But if the drivers aren’t in the running now ALL BETS ARE OFF.
Why did you take the jump to uninstall something that might have worked. You’re really tasking us now if we don’t know what you’ve been doing.
What drivers are now installed?

I stand by returning any ATI product…
So much bloat, so much instability, so much irritation. -

Pardon me for saying so, but if you’ve had a chat to some bloke at work, and acted on the advice of your mate, quite what you expect us to do is defeating me at present.
The last I heard was that the card was working but you were having “Out Of Range” errors from the monitor. THAT point was close to the finishing post. Did you adjust your ‘screen refresh rate’ or did you just ignore that advice and listen to your colleague and your ‘mate who knows a little more than you’ ?
If you are not going to follow our advice I really don’t understand why you are still asking us for help. Seriously. I don’t. 🙁
