Hi,
Don't forget to set the proxy parameter in your browser, location of this parameter depending on your browser. Set the name, protocol and port use by the proxy.

Besides #1 above, check your proxy to make sure it is not eleminating higher up URL addresses. Like it might exclude www.someplace.com and your trying to get to www.someplace.com/jennyspage and it won't work. Depends on your proxy.

In addition check the proxy blacklist and/or user restrictions (depends on your proxy) and the internet-settings of your browser. Maybe there is an entry that denies access to that site you want to connect to.

Whilst it is possible that your proxy has this site allowed, it may still be blocking certain activities that the site offers. For example, proxies can block shockwave downloads, they can block by port etc. so check those.

You should also check your internet security settings on your browser. The site may use unsigned Active-x scripts for example and your browser settings may be set for medium which will not allow you to view the page as it will not meet the settings of the browser. That happens often and can be easily overlooked. If that is the case, either decide to lower your security setting or, add this site to your browser as a trusted site and you should gain access.
