unable to browse the webpage

Hi,
I am facing a problem in my network.

when i ping my ip from the another computer it replies the connection successfully.But when i browse the webpage it gives the "page cannot be displayed.

It also do not work with IE , MOZILLA.

Please help me.

First of all you didn't wrote about ather PC's.. do they work corect.. if so, then its not all Your Local Networks problem.

Try to change Your IP address this should help.. it helps to me.
Don't know why but sometimes i can't even ping to DNS.. to gateway - ok..

TCP/IP enabled?

I usually find TCP/IP is not checked. Recently I had that problem and I used Run, entered MSCONFIG and deselected all checkboxes so no programs to run at startup. Now it works!

I don't expect to be too busy as pointer outerer and approverer. I mostly am a don't carerer.
