Undisclosed-Recipient in outlook 97/2000

By kennyf ·
I would like to know how can I display Undisclosed-Recipient in the "Sender" of ms 97/2000 instead of a lot of email address to provide the privacy.

I assume you're the one sending the email and you want to send it to people without the recipients seeing the addresses.

This is accomplished through using the BCC (Blind carbon copy) field in Outlook. Whne composing a message, select the Viewmenu and pick "Show BCC field".

This will allow you to add "invisible" recipients of the email.

The previous answer is correct, I'd just like to add that you might add yourself in the "To:" field. Not to get a copy (your mail is probably in your "Sent Items" anyway), but this way it just looks a lot nicer, no "undisclosed recipients" at all, and no list of addresses.
You could even create an item in your address list, like "List Server" or "Jokelist" or "Kenny's Customers" or so, with your own email address. This way a mail header would just show:
From: kennyf@chevalier.com
To: Kenny's Customers
Subject: Whatever

By the way, the BCC is not displayed by default, you may have to select View|BCC Field when composing a mail.
