Where can I find step-by-step instructions on how to upgrade a processor and also, instructions on how to increase RAM memory?

This usually can be found on the manufacturers website, or the user manual that came with you unit or motherboard. Look for how fast of a processor your motherboard can handle and the jumper or switch settings to change. RAM memory is increased by adding more memory SIMM's or DIMM's (depending on your system).

Hi, try this site: http://pctechnician.com. Lots of info. on hardware, upgrades, building systems, modifying, etc. Also, QUE books puts out PC reparir/upgrade and will step you through many fine points. You should find plenty of info. on processor upgrades as well as memory. Also, for processors in general, search intel's site (www.intel.com)for general (as well as specific) information.

hey u dont have to worry about it
dont go to any website because i can guide u
its simple
1. first tell me what porcessor do u have right now?
2.what softwares do u want to install.suppose if u want to use Borland JBuilder 3.0 then u must have atleast 128 MB
RAM and a pentium II 450 MHz processor .
3.how much budget do u have?
