User internet access control

want to limit which users have internet access and time limits to those who do. all access is through this R.H.9.0 server. any slick little packages anyone aware of to make this easy for lasy admin.? or is something already in there hmmm?

Look into squid proxy
http://www.squid-cache.org/

It will allow you to setup internet access based on username/password

Hi!

Just finding your question: I am the Author of dynacc (mentioned earlier). Dynacc is developed in pure C and currently it?s not actively in developement. I originally planned to reimplement it in php (with sql and ldap authentication). Many pieces are finished. However, if you?re interested in this topic I am willing to help you in implementing the original dynacc or maybe to start working on the reimplementation again.
