How big is your network? There used to be a limit to the number of objects displayable(is that a real word?) in a window. Can't remember it off hand.

Try looking at Q268896 on technet. It mentions a known problem that was addressed in SP2 for Win2k.

I don't believe you will see the Win98 clients in Wink2k (unless you have shared a file or printer on Win98, then it will broadcast its share. Win2k uses DNS, not netbios for compiling the browser list. Win98 doesn't 'speak' DNS, so doesn't reportin. I believe you would need a host file or the sharing as mentioned above.

You can try to find missing users with search options and then add.

I'm not sure what you are talking about. Are you talking about Users in the domain? or the Computer in the domain?. If you are talk about the list of users in the domain. you need to make a domain controller where by it control Login info. If you are talking about computer in the domain Who is setup to be part of the domain should be listed in network neibourhood. Try pinging your pinging your Win2k server.
One reason you might no able to see some of the computer maybe is because no all of them were given an IP address which mean some are running on dhcp. If so your DHCP server service should be turn on and DHCP Client service should be turn off. Maybe what happen is maybe your WinSE client is waiting for your server to Assign them with an IP but if never got through.

The problem might be that you have not given ipaddresses to the clients or Try installing netbeui also as a protocol. Win2k does create problems if this is not done.
