Using old PC as print server

By atul_paradkar ·
I have 2 PC, one with XP Home and older one with Win 95. I am planning to use the older PC as a print server as I have laser printer that can be used only on 95 and driver for XP is not available. How do I go about accomplishing it?

Set up the computers in a peer to peer configuration on a network and then share the printer on the 95, then go though the printer wizard on the XP computer and tell it that it will be using the printer that is shared.

The only problem I see is that XP will still need to load the printer drivers, and if there are no drivers for XP then you may have to test diffent drivers of the same printer family to see what one works with the laser printer.

you may not have to use your old PC. Install win2000 or NT drivers on XP.
