Utility to copy NTFS permissions to anot

Is there a tool / utility which can copy NTFS permissions from one w2k srv PC to another with ease in case the permission have been accidently changed on a lot of folder eg : on %systemroot%

Hi,
xcopy has a switch to copy over permissions along with files and folders. I believe robocopy had the same functionality too. Hope this helps...

I wanted to copy just permissions on files / folder of one system to another system.

Have you tried using the Security Configuration And Analysis add-in to the MMC? It will let you create a database that you can then copy and apply to other computers.

I wanted to copy just permissions on files / folder of one system to another system. Didn't tested it. Try it later.

This an utility called SCOPY.EXE in Microsoft Resource Kit that allow you to copy files and directory with their respective permision.
