Video Editing Software

By whaler775 ·
Can anyone recommend a good video editing software for use on Windows XP? I've tried several that don't work very well. iMovie works well on a Mac; is there something compareable for a PC?

Pinnacle Studio 8.0 is a good choice. I have used it to create several home movies. With the FX Studio add on package it offers lots cool transitions. I love it. The only drawback I have found is that it won't use mp3 straight from the hard drive you must burn to cd first. Also the title editor is a little weak.

I didn't like ulead video studio 6.0. It distorts the pics to fit the tv size and it is almost impossible to change the clips around once in the program.

Have had Pinnacle hardware before... don't like it at all. Limitations on SIZE of files before it starts losing the audio/video sync. If you reply back to my email address I will check on what I am currently using as I have created several DVDs with my current program and am very pleased with the results.
