Virtualization Engine from IBM SUN HP

By Samuel C. ·
What do you think about this type of technology
and closely related technologies from SUN HP and
others?
In my opinion it is in the Interest of these Large
Companies too let their many clients Integrate
Different Computer Systems and Operating Systems.
As Reported: IBM has launched software enabling server systems to operate as mainframes, touting its virtualization engine as a tool to increase efficiency and reduce operating costs. The software is embedded into IBM hardware and allows computer systems essentially to 'clone' themselves...
IBM plans to extend its leading virtualization capabilities by rolling out Virtualization Engine technologies and services across its servers and storage products beginning this year. Virtualization Engine technologies will appear first in IBM's new iSeries servers expected in the second quarter.
Competitors Hewlett-Packard and Sun offer similar virtualization capabilities in different packages, with HP providing workload management through hardware partitioning in its adaptive enterprise platform and Sun focusing on both partitioning and load-management capabilities.
