vlan

i have 2 vlans and one domain with nt 4.0 on pdc, now i can see alll the machines see in my VLAN but cannot see on different VLAN.
where the permission has to be given so that i can see them on my network neighbourhood,
and use them. Please help me?

Sounds like your VLANs are working properly..You're not supposed to be able to see each other, put them all in the SAME VLAN if you need them to see each other.

well due to security reasons i willnot be able to put them in the same VLAN , may be at the routing device it can be done which I am not clear about.

As long as you have something routing between the VLAN's; a Server with two NIC's, a Router, or a Route Switch Module, and the clients can see this route in some way, you should be able to set the WINS Server address in both VLAN's to the same WINS Server.

That should let you see the Workstations/Servers in both VLAN's from Both VLAN's without compromising the NT Level permissions of what you could access.
