VPN set up

By Navjun ·
I need to connect to my Home server (win2003 server) useing VPN from Work (I use MSCHAP V2), But It seems outgoing VPN connections have been blocked, but not all outgoing connections are blocked since a frind connects to his home's Terminal services without useing VPN by just opening that port on his home's Router. Now I need to know if I can just change the setting on myserver and my laptop so the VPN can use an alternate port that is not blocked.

thanks

If you are using PPTP VPN then you need TCP/UDP port 1723 and IP port 47 (GRE protocol).
If you are using L2TP VPN then you need TCP/UDP 1701 and IP port 47.
