If you're talking about.....

by ThumbsUp2 In reply to Web based helpdesk soluti ...

.... the SIMPLE HELP web site at www.simplehelp.net, that web site is generated with Word Press (free) which operates much like a BLOG where you paste articles you've written into the Word Press editor. It's not a true help desk solution.

If that's not the web site you're talking about, then more information is needed.

actually it's a different program

by stefan In reply to If you're talking about.. ...

The program that i'm talking about is calles simple help and it is a java application where if a user needs help on their pc they go to a webaddress and they wait in queue, then when i go on my side i see them waiting in the queue and then i connect to their pc and take controll over it.Almost like vnc where they can see what i am doing on there pc while i'm working on it.Reason why i need something like this is to avoid installing software on the client's pc's.so they can just go to the web url and i will see them in the queue and then i take controll of their pc.The address where you can see what simple help is is here:

www.simple-help.com/

Thanx for the help.

Have you looked at CrossLoop?

I haven't actually seen it in action yet, so I don't know if there's a "que" to show you who's waiting for help.

You can set up a free account and you don't have to give out your URL to anyone except those you want to help.

Might be what you're looking for.

type Crossloop into the "Search Techrepublic" box above (change to search forum), then click go. There are many links to discussions on this program throughout TechRepublic.
