Welcome to the new Community site for TechRepublic!

Hello Everyone and welcome to the new Community site for TechRepublic!

We are excited about our new design and hope you will be as well! Along with a new look, we also have some new upcoming features that we are excited for you to check out that we are sure you will really love - Such as the one that will be over in the Tech QA forum - it is one that will allow you to give that well deserved pat on the back when someone has given you an awesome answer to a question you have. You will be able to mark their Answer "Resolves Question" which in return will place an awesome badge next to their Answer saying "Best Answer". Course not everyone's comment can be a Best Answer, it must a a top level answer (no clarifications and afraid no children, just the parents will qualify), and only one Best Answer per Thread. This is just one of the new many other exciting features coming your way real soon, but the in the meantime - Take a look around the new place, see what you think! But remember....

We do know though that even after months and months of hard work and even with the best bug spray, that sometimes them darn creepy crawlers just seem to manage to find there way into the smallest cracks, because of this, we have created a spreadsheet for you to log any of these creepy crawling things you might find and we'll get right on them.

You can find the spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/a/cbsinteractive.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Am6thtySNMMxdE1NRDJ3cm9jYWJud0kzTmFvUGVPQWc#gid=0

We do ask that you please use this spreadsheet as it will help us keep everything confined to a central location making it much easier for us to squish, smoosh and stomp out them bugs has fast as you catch them. Though we are hoping you don't find any.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to ask - I am always here along with a wonderful fine group of moderators who can assist in answering any questions you may have.

Come on in, the water feels just fine....

    Hi,

The website does not seem to be functioning very well in Firefox, click on links does nothing, so I have to resort to right clicking then opening in a new tab.

Also the links from your RSS feed now say the page does not exist when opening them.

    Cheers,

Here's the test post,I wonder if it will post in less than 30 tries? I wonder if it will show up in the thread afterward? Seems that there are 22 comments but it only shows 3. When there's 2 comments, they don't show.

Main reason I come to this site is not to read about all the things your sponsors think I should know, but to read what my peers think I should. So if discussions doesn't get promoted back to the main reason behind the site, I'm going to have little use for it...

Yes, very slow to load, as well as this page initially coming up with a 'not found' indicator page.
And where do I find all those things that I used to browse through?
And even on these comments I can't see the button for 'see all comments'

The impression is that someone wrote these pages, nobody tested them.

I just tried submitting a question to the community asking help for internet networking stuff, and twice it went to a page that said "oops, this doesn't exist" or something; please fix this

Although there have, allegedly, been 26 comments, only 3 appear, with no "next page" button to press.

Since the site has changed, I no longer have my bookmarked articles. Are the gone or how do I access them?

    Hi Al S
Your bookmarked content can be found in your profile under the tab "My Activity", and then by selecting "Read Later" you should see your bookmarked activity, please let us know if you are still not seeing your bookmarked articles

    Thanks and regards

When I go to any page it starts to load, then goes to a blank page while trying to load cdn.clicktale.net, which apparently is a feature to track everywhere we go and click on a Web page. Good luck with that if the page won't load. I was only able to get here by disabling Javascript. It looks like my days at TechRepublic may be numbered. I'll have to find a site that I don't have to fight to read.
