Viri!

by symon.l In reply to what is boot.vbs

sounds like its a custom autorun virus

usually located in c:\windows\system32\

Prolly best going to
www.bitdefender.com and doing a online scan this should pick it up

... First off though Turn off system restore as this virus will sit in a restore point and pretty much be hidden away from the eyes of the Anti Virus.

reboot and give your pc a good scan.

Its easy! follow these step

by anil_mbs In reply to what is boot.vbs

Run Process Explorer (right click on task bar>task manager>Processes) and Kill the Following Processes:
wscript.exe
dxdlg.exe (kill this one first)

Run Autoruns and under logon tab, remove
C:\WINDOWS\system32\wscript.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\boot.vbs
Search for entries named wproxp and remove it

Remove the following files from your PC:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\dxdlg.exe
wproxp.exe (Most probably in your system32 or windows folder)
C:\WINDOWS\system32\boot.vbs
Thanks
