What type of case?

By rwolcott1 ·
I acquired a EPOX EP-S1 VPXC motherboard.
It doesn't fit into an AT style case.
What type of case would I have to get?

Here's another article from your sysboard manufacturer... their site is not specific as to the form factor of the case you need. Read through the above link and do your research before purchasing a case.

Also please remove the embedded space between "get" and " .asp"

I found the manual for the board at this site.

Having never heard of EPOX, I couldn't guess. But if it's of fairly recent manufacture, it's probably one of the ATX styles. Check the dimensions. Flex-ATX is 7.5" x 9", Micro-ATX is 9.6" x 9.6", Mini-ATX is 11.2" x 8.2", and ATX is 12.0" x 9.6". There's also a newer NLX type that has a card-edge connector on one side, and comes in three lengths - 13.6", 11.2", and 10". And there's a WTX-type for servers that is up to 14" wide by 16.75" long.

I hope one of these matches, else you've gotyourself a throwback (or a proprietary card).
