By mgates ·
I would like to manage user accounts from my workstation. I know for windows 9.x and NT there is a program called "Windows NT Server Tools" (located on NT cd). My workstation is running Windows 2000 professional and i would like to install a similar program. Where can i find a similar program and how can i install it on my workstation. Thanks

the Server tools for w2k are on the server CD \i386\ADMINPAK.MSI It will install a 2nd administrative tools folder on your workstation that allows you to administer servers over the network. Also check out info on the Microsoft Management Consol(MMC) on Microsoft's Knowledge base. It's cool. Good Luck

I actually used the nt server cd which worked. The w2k server cd did not include User Manager for Domains which is what i wanted most.
