You can set a Static IP Address on the computer that it’s attached to or go to every computer that uses this printer and set a static IP Address for it through th Printer Setup Panel.

How is the printer connected to the netork?

What make/model. Does it have a built-in network port or are you using an external print server (not an actual server, thats what they call the little box that has an RJ-45 port fot the network cable and a USB or LPT port for the cable to the printer) or a printer shared from a P.C. attached to the network?

If the printer has a built-in NIC, then chances are that you can set the IP and subnet mask though the front panel buttons. Check the manufactures web site for a manual for the model of printer.

If it doesn’t have a NIC, then use IE to connect to the external print server at it’s default address and set it to the addy you want. You may have to download software from the servers mfg web site to allow you to access the print server from a browser. Also, use the server’s documentation to figure out how to print out the settings when it’s connected to a printer. That way you’ll know where you’re starting from.
