why is facebook not showing all my friends (only the first 36)?

By ckchee ·
I recently created a facebook account about a week ago. I've added 49 friends.
When I go to "Account->Edit Friends", I only see the first 36 friends I added.

When I go to my profile and click on "Friends (49) on the left side, I see all 49 friends in a list. However in the "Search by Name" field, it will only give me results for the first 36 friends.

Or perhaps you need to friend an additional 13 random people to make your search show up on the screen properly :)

One thing I forgot to mention is that I'm also using the new facebook group. I have one person who is a member of the group and not my friend. If this person is actually #37, then it might explain why all friends #37 onward is not showing up.

Where do I go for Facebook tech support?

I now made sure all the members of the facebook group are my friends. Still can see #37 onward.
