Probably just as well with Bluetooth mic as any other.

I expect that Vista's speech recognition simply will not work at all, but the microphone's type -- bluetooth, USB, old-fashioned separate mic & headphone jacks -- will have no impact.

Probably very well indeed.

Vista speech recognition works quite well actually.

In theory, the available bluetooth drivers in the operating system should support the profiles for headset and hands free operation, that will allow a headset to be used with speech recognition technology.

There's a recent article I've come across, for the scala bluetooth headset, that indicates the author was able to use the bluetooth headset with speech recognition well enough to work with his skype contact list.

(this reply was dictated using vista speech recognition technology, with a few minor spelling and grammar corrections, using a regular wire headset)
