Win NT Server Beta

By KSTV ·
I have a beta version and a full version. I installed the beta version by mistake and now the time is up for it. There are several software installed and a good size database loaded. Can I install the full version over it? Do I just run the CD fron windows? What all is involve in this?

The Beta version is simply the full version with a TTL (time to live). The problem is that the TTL is buried somewhere (probably multiple places) is the registry. I was in the same position about 8 months ago. When it was all said and done, I hadto end up reloading NT Server. I know that this is a pain, but Microsoft has done a good job at making their "expiring" version useless after the expiration period. Sorry.

Just upgrade the beta version to final version. All settings and files should be preserved.
Boot to beta version, insert the full version CD and upgrade...
