Window Me and real mode DOS Application

By hivosroblr ·
I had upgraded my office network with windows me
from windows 98 SE, now our dos network application related to finance which used to work
hassle free on Windows 98 started giving problems in windows me especially when printing reports gives error messages indicating insufficient memory.

I came to know that in windows me microsoft had
disabled real mode dos addressing.
Is their any tweak available to address this issue
so that my dos application will perfom hassle free
windows me.
Already I had experimented several methods but all
resulted in negative result.

Hi,

I had already experimented from the info available according to
your web site information.

I am enclosing the symptoms according to our office email conversation on the dos application.

Both message have the same reason:
The operating system you are using at the moment (Windows ME)
cannot handle the 'old dos' programs properly (Thanks to Bill Gates) Manjunath knows about this problem and we think we have to go
back to Windows98 to get a proper memory manager program.

Sorry i can not solve this for now.
Dorus
