Windows 2000 hangs on shutdown

During shutdown I always get this stop error..."driver_power_state_failure". Why?

Try setting DO_POWER_PAGABLE the same way in your filter as in the
device object you're filtering. You presumably already have code that
copies the settings of DO_DIRECT_IO and DO_BUFFERE_ID, so this is just
one more flag to copy. I don't think anyone would ever allocate a paging
file on a floppy, but to be totally safe, you should also monitor
IRP_MN_DEVICE_USAGE_NOTIFICATION requests and realize that the bus
driver may switch the setting of DO_POWER_PAGABLE in the PDO when one of
them comes along.

indeed do the trick. I had set it on my device, but didn't copy it for the attached devices
