Windows 7 curiousity or problem

well hello,I running win 7 rc 64-bit,and this thing slows boot up a bit.well this is my problem:

whenever i boot up my pc right after the welcome screen.all my icons, both on desktop and taskbar, appear to look like white pieces of papers then return to there original state,why is this,is it normal or what,Can i fix it...wellhope i was specific enough,thanks for reading..laterz

What Hardware is in use and how many Process are being loaded at this time.

As any version of 7 is still in the Beta Stage it may suffer for Issues that will be rectified Maybe before it goes RTM.

But as Vista didn't have all of it's issues fixed before being sent to RTM it is also possible that 7 May Not also.

You could try inserting a Password and waiting for all HDD activity to stop before pressing enter to start 7 and see if that makes any difference. If it does then you either need more Resources to run 7 properly or you need to reduce the number of Processes that are being launched at Startup.

I think this could have more to do with either your hardware or your start-up configuration than it been a Windows 7 issue.

I am currently running a virtual Windows 7 x64 it only has 1GB ram along with the VM drivers and it seems very quick to boot up.

That said I should also mention that the only software on this is office 07 and adobe reader.

As above beta's are always buggy
