windows NT's settings

I want to develop mail system using JavaMailAPI using windowsNT server which supports mailing system.To test it,I want to set windowsNT server to send/receive mails.
I want what all settings are to be done?
Is there any default 'postoffice' directory in windows messaging?

import javax.mail.*;

in short you would call:

Properties props = System.getProperties();
Session ses = Session.getDefaultInstance(props,null);
Store store = null;
Folder folder = null;
try {
store = ses.getStore("pop3");
} catch(Exception e ) {}
try{
store.connect("host","user","password");
}catch(Exception e){}

--- where "host" is your pop3 host such as "yourserviceprovider.com" this is very skeletal, check the javamail API docs.
