Windows User Login Restrictions

Does anyon know if there is a way to restrict a user from logging into more than one PC/server in a Windows 2003 ctive Directory domain? I know this capability was in Windows NT4.0.

Edit: Where was it in NT? I only remember it as an option in Novell Netware...

Hey,

It can depend on what you are doing. I don't think these options are what you are looking for, but just in case.

If they are logging in via terminal services you can limit them to one log on per server.

If people are usually at one PC you can lock them down to only being able to logon to that one PC in their AD profile under the "logon" tab.

We had to get a third party program to limit users in the manner you are probably trying to accomplish. This is what we use, http://www.isdecisions.com/en/software/userlock/
